Xbox 360
The Xbox 360 is the second video game console developed by Microsoft.
It comes after the original Xbox release it was launched in 2005.
The Xbox 360 was envisioned in the year 2003 as a direct competitor to major console brands such as the Sony PlayStation Series and the Nintendo versions.
It was Microsoft’s upgrade of the largely successful Xbox console and its development was also helped by other companies.
Other companies involved in this development include ATI, IBM and SIS.
